Web OPAC Add-Ons!

I am so happy.

VTEC, our web OPAC service provider were just wonderful last week.

They fixed the New Titles List subject truncation bug at http://asp.vtecsys.com.sg/bgst/newtitles/bull1.htm and created a Electronic Journals Type for us. This enable us to upload a file to an issue in the e-journals type. Users will not need to fret with slow or broken links but can view such files once they are uploaded to the database. Thus E-journals could be archived. Of course, we still need to seek permission from E-journals publisher. The immediate use is the New Titles List info. The BGST This Week is another possibility.

Finally, a new field is created to enable us to input course code for our course reserve titles. This will enable us to track titles to course code.
